弊社に来られた方はご存知かと思いますが、一番奥の大事な話をする打合せ部屋の机は、手作りとも呼べない、30分ほどで作られた、仮テーブルでした。

As any of you who have visited our company know, the table in the back room at our office where we hold all of our most important meetings is one that we cannot say was handmade. Quite  the contrary it was put together we with board in less than 30 minutes.

その即席テーブルで、大した不自由もなく、「凄い机ですね～」と、来て頂く方に言われ続けながらも、まぁまぁ愛着も湧いてきたのか、そのまま2年ほど活躍してくれました。

That table, being one put together in such an instant way, was one the allowed us to do our work with little inconvenience, and also garnered such comments as “Its a great table isn’t it”. It has over the last 2 years come to have a well used and well loved look about it.

ただ、なんか違う・・・

But, we felt like something was not right.

椅子はこだわって、お世話になっている株式会社キャプテン渡邊社長に、作ってもらいました。

We asked the President Watanabe of Captain Corporation to make the custom bench chairs for us.

「お洒落な＆物を入れられる＆畳」を形にしてもらった、オーダー椅子。

We asked,“Can you make something fashionable we can use to put things in that is made using tatami.” He brought us our order-made bench seats.
 

それを考えるとなおさら、変えたい・・・・。とは前々から思っており、この度交換。

This made us remember that we’d been thinking for a while now… It’s time to change… And so we have exchanged tables.
